Basin Wastes
Gone are the days of a simple plug and chain being your only option, although if you have a fondness for the classic styling we have a stunning chrome version available.
Do I need slotted or unslotted?
Slotted wastes have a cut out section above the thread which allows water from the overflow to drain out, if you have a basin with an overflow you will need a slotted waste.
Unslotted wastes do not have this cut out section and if you have a basin without an overflow (normally freestanding or undermounted basins) then you will need an unslotted waste.
Click clack, flip and pop up explained!
Pop up wastes have a small lever at the base of the tap which when pulled up opens the waste and pushed down closes the waste. We do sell pop up waste kits but you will need to check your basin and tap are compatable.
Click-Clack (or sprung) Wastes operate by simply pushing the top of the waste to open and pushing again to close, the top unscrews for cleaning. They offer clean lines and are our best selling waste.
Flip wastes have a small disc located in the middle of the surround which is opened by simply pushing one side of the disc, they are more commonly used in cloakrooms or occassional bathrooms.
